BWC Does Tour of Utah
The Tour of Utah is known as “America’s Toughest Stage Race”, and for good reason, as this 7-day race covers 550-miles while ascending more than 65,000’, a hard week by anyones standards…
And doing it among sixteen of the world’s best race teams, all striving for glory, will make it even more challenging!
With that said, we are excited that Coach Brian will be racing and representing Big Wheel Coaching as a member of the Elevate/KHS Pro Cycling Team!
What’s more, the Tour of Utah will be televised with daily live-coverage, as well as web and mobile content, to follow all the race updates.

BWC Instructs At USA Cycling Level 2 Coaching Clinics
After helping lead and coach at the USA Cycling Talent ID Camp in June, that selected riders for the US National Team at the Junior Tour of Ireland, Coach Joy has been asked to teach at upcoming USA Cycling Level 2 Coaching Clinics.
As a former P.E. Teacher and educator, Coach Joy brings a fun, yet focused, approach along with plenty of experience to instruct at these Coaching Clinics.
Following her performance at USA Cycling Talent ID Camp camp in Thousand Oaks, just one month ago, she has been invited to join and lead at the remaining USA Cycling Level 2 Coaching Clinics in Colorado Springs and Carlsbad (Colorado and California, respectively).

BWC Is Referenced On TrainingPeaks Coaching Newsletter
As any BWC Athlete will attest, TrainingPeaks is more than just a software platform to catalog and sort training-data, it is a network of articles and resources to help an Athlete achieve their best!
With this reality in mind, we are especially excited that Coach Brian was quoted in this months’ TrainingPeaks newsletter titled, The Coach’s Desk.
In this edition of their newsletter, Coaches were asked to give their perspective on encouraging/discouraging competition when coaching groups of Athletes, a great topic of discussion for coaches and athletes alike. Check it out here:
At Big Wheel Coaching it is our passion to help you achieve your best!
Through continuing-education, group coaching, and even our own racing experience, we are always working to improve our skills and better serve our Athletes to give them the best chances to exceed their expectations.
Take care and we look forward to seeing you on the road in August!
Until Next Time, Be Safe, Train Hard, And Have Fun!
