Although only one rider can cross the finish line first, bike racing is absolutely a team sport!
Successful racers are nearly always supported by strong and experienced teammates that help deliver their lead rider to the final moments of the race rested and well positioned to take victory. For Tony Rago, living in Las Vegas and racing predominantly in Southern California, he races most of the time as a "lone wolf" despite being a member of a great team. Where most racers would get discouraged or be unable to see opportunity in this reality, Tony has carved out a niche as hard-nosed competitor that is a threat in every type of race. Now Tony finds himself having won two races and been on the podium nine times in eleven weekends of racing, an absolutely astonishing ratio of success! In this Athlete Profile Podcast Coach Brian interviews his long-time Athlete Tony Rago about his recent successes and delves into what Tony has tweaked to achieve success this season.
